Goodmans Presents: Acquisition Financing - 2016 and Beyond
7:30 - 8:00 am - Breakfast / Networking
8:00 - 9:00 am - Panel Discussion
Since the financial crisis of 2008, the debt markets have encountered a number of diverging trends. While interest rates have remained low and there has been significant liquidity in some areas, the regulatory environment has made it increasingly more challenging to deploy that liquidity. Notwithstanding these challenges, key Canadian players have continued to pursue acquisitions both at home and abroad, and have successfully raised debt financing to support these transactions.
With this in mind, our expert panel will discuss:
- General trends in sourcing financing in 2016;
- Challenges with the current environment, both in the US and elsewhere;
- Impact on the documentation process;
- What the future holds.
