Bram Green is a partner at Goodmans.  His practice focuses on commercial real estate, including acquisitions and divestitures, secured lending, condominium resort development, hospitality, renewable energy generation projects and commercial leasing.

He frequently advises REIT’s, foreign investors, pension fund advisors and many of Canada’s largest real estate development firms and also regularly acts for domestic and international renewable energy companies in respect of all aspects of the development of utility scale solar and wind power projects.

Bram’s significant transactional experience includes:

  • counsel for InnVest REIT in connection with its acquisition of the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel;
  • counsel for InnVest REIT in connection with its acquisition of the Marriott Ottawa Hotel;
  • counsel for Leadon Investment Inc. in connection with its first Canadian acquisition, namely, the $1billion acquisition of the SilverBirch Hotel Portfolio from bcIMC Realty Corporation;
  • counsel for RioCan REIT, Allied Properties REIT and Diamondcorp in connection with their acquisition and development of “The Well” mixed use commercial/residential development;
  • counsel for RioCan REIT, Allied Properties REIT and Diamondcorp in connection with the disposition of the residential component of “The Well” to Tridel Builders Inc. and Woodbourne Canada Partners III (CA) LP;
  • counsel for RioCan REIT in connection with its approximately $1billion purchase of Kimco Realty Inc.’s co-ownership interest in their jointly owned retail portfolio;
