Heather Wilson is a senior law clerk in the Banking & Finance Law Group. She holds an Honours B.F.A. (1984) from York University, where she majored in Theatre Performance. Heather received her law clerk diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology, and was named valedictorian, in 1995.
Heather has extensive experience in lending transactions, acting for both lender and borrower, and in bankruptcy and insolvency transactions.
Heather was a co-presenter of a workshop entitled “Managing the Large Transaction” with The Law Society of Ontario in 1997 as part of a program entitled “Buying and Selling a Business for Law Clerks”. In addition, she and David Wiseman co-authored and presented a paper entitled “PPSA and Other Lien Searches: A Practical Guide” as part of a 2002 Law Society program entitled “The Personal Property Security Act: Avoiding the Pitfalls through Best Practices”. Heather and Maureen Buckley co-authored and presented a session at the 2012 ILCO Conference entitled “PPSA: Perfecting Your Perfection.” She also teaches many internal PPSA seminars to lawyers and students at Goodmans.
Heather joined Goodmans in 1997.
