Match.com acquires Plentyoffish

Goodmans represented Match.com Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of The Match Group in its US$575 million cash acquisition of Canadian online dating service PlentyOfFish Media Inc. (POF). The Match Group, which already owns Match.com, OkCupid and Tinder and filed its Initial Public Offering on the NASDAQ, now adds POF, the largest free online dating site in the world to its portfolio. Match is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the US media and internet giant IAC/InterActiveCorp.
