Dye & Durham’s $170 million initial public offering in July 2020 sparked a red-hot Canadian IPO market in the technology sector, with over a billion dollars raised so far this year. Goodmans LLP is pleased to welcome Matthew Proud, CEO of Dye & Durham, and other key members of the IPO working group to discuss their experiences in preparing for and executing the IPO.

IPOs involve many unique issues that are critical to consider and address early on to get the deal done. Our panel of experts will provide practical insights into key business, financial and legal issues specific to IPOs in the technology sector, including:

  • Steps to take before an IPO to prepare a company to go public;
  • Process and timing considerations and risks;
  • Advice on marketing a technology IPO; and
