Belle Van is a member of Goodmans litigation group. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, including patent and trademark disputes. Belle has played an integral role on several leading patent law cases in Canada with a high success rate handling all aspects of cases involving patent litigation before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. She also advises clients on all aspects of trademark and IP law, including the production, sale and health and safety requirements of regulated products in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and consumer goods industries, and on regulatory compliance. Belle is a contributing author of Carswell’s Canadian Patent Law Benchbook and has a wealth of knowledge in the area of IP law.
Before joining Goodmans, Belle clerked for Justice von Finckenstein at the Federal Court of Canada.
