Loren Cohen is an associate in the Corporate Restructuring Group at Goodmans. She practices in the area of corporate and commercial law, with a focus on corporate restructurings, recapitalizations and related transactions.
Loren completed her J.D. and graduated with honours (top 10%) at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Loren was the recipient of the Rocco Marcello Prize in Securities Law and the Edward J Kowal ’65 Prize for achievement in commercial law courses. While at law school, Loren spent a semester abroad at the Centre of Transnational Legal Studies in London, UK and received a Certificate in Transnational Law.
Prior to law school, Loren studied business at McGill University, where she concentrated on entrepreneurship and international business, receiving a prize for excellence in the latter subject.
Loren was a summer student at the firm in 2014 and 2015, returned for her articles in 2016, and became an associate in 2017.
