Scott Kerr is an associate in the Litigation Group at Goodmans. He is developing his practice in civil litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. He advocates for public and private companies, directors and officers, and government agencies.
Scott attended law school at Western Law, where he was Valedictorian and graduated on the Dean’s List. During law school, Scott won numerous awards, including the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize and the J.S.D. Tory Writing Prize, and he served as an editor of three law journals.
After completing his articles, Scott spent a year in the leading commercial chambers of London, England as a Fox Scholar, working on international commercial litigation and arbitration cases. Scott returned to the firm as an associate in 2018.
Scott has an active pro bono practice, providing summary legal advice to Ontarians in need through Pro Bono Ontario.
