Webflow, a website-building SaaS company founded in 2013, has acquired its first start-up, Intellimize. Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed, but Intellimize was reportedly purchased for a price in the “eight-figure” range.
The acquisition marks Webflow’s expansion into the market optimization sector. Intellimize is a platform that offers AI-driven website personalization and conversion rate optimization. Founded in 2016, Intellimize has raised over $50 million from various investors at the time of acquisition.
Since 2013, Webflow has grown to raise over $330 million at a $4 billion valuation. Acquiring Intellimize to respond to customers’ needs in an increasingly AI-driven space is a step forward in website design and Webflow’s presence in the sector.
