Ronnie Hoffer is an experienced registered trademark agent, practising within the Intellectual Property Law Group at Goodmans.
Ronnie has in-depth experience in all aspects of trademark law including search analysis, filing and prosecuting applications, oppositions, cancellation proceedings, licensing, and portfolio management. She provides clients with strategic advice for protecting and managing their trademarks in Canada and abroad. Ronnie is routinely involved in commercial transactions involving intellectual property assets including the transfer of such rights, security interest issues and conducting due diligence inquiries. In addition, Ronnie manages international prosecution programs for a broad range of clients throughout the world.
Ronnie is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), a member of its Building Bridges Committee and the former Chair of its Trademark Office Practices Committee. Ronnie is recognized as a leading IP practitioner by World Intellectual Property Review’s Leaders Directory and is a past recipient of INTA’s Advancement of Trademark Law Award.
