Rogers Communications Inc.'s acquires Shaw Communications Inc.

Goodmans LLP acted for Rogers Communications Inc. in connection with its acquisition of Shaw Communications Inc. in a transaction valued at approximately C$26 billion inclusive of approximately C$6 billion of Shaw debt.

Goodmans also represented Rogers in the related divestiture of Freedom Mobile Inc. to Videotron Ltd.
