FleetWorks Raises US$17 Million to Accelerate AI-Driven Freight Matching
FleetWorks, a startup co-founded by Quang Tran, has raised US$17 million to make freight matching faster and smarter. The funding round – led by First Round Capital with participation from Y Combinator, LFX Venture Partners and Saga Ventures – will support hiring, commercial expansion, product management and the growth of the company’s AI-driven logistics platform.
FleetWorks’ vision is to automate the manual phone calls, emails and text messages between truckers and brokers that still dominate freight coordination. Acting as an “always-on” AI dispatcher, the system uses multiple domain-specific models to negotiate, book and manage shipments directly with carriers through voice, text or email. The AI learns each carrier’s unique preferences – such as their preferred routes, delivery schedules and time constraints – to create matches that reflect real-world and dynamic needs rather than relying on static data.
In the first six months, FleetWorks onboarded over 10,000 carriers and partnered with several brokers, including Uber Freight. By transforming fragmented communication into structured automation, FleetWorks aims to improve supply chain efficiency and make logistics less repetitive. By understanding each trucker’s preferences through AI, FleetWorks is redefining freight coordination – proving that the future of logistics is not just about bigger fleets, but also smarter automation.
