Allan Leibel serves as counsel at Goodmans and has played a vital role in charting the firm’s development and success. He joined the firm in 1972.
He focuses on municipal law and is a noted leader in development matters in the Toronto area. He was part of the team that drew up the plans for creating the Toronto “mega-city” in 1998. Allan has been involved in many development projects in the Greater Toronto Area and throughout the province of Ontario, acting for both land owners and governments in a variety of complex development approval processes.
Allan twice represented Canada as an Olympic sailor and is now a member of the Canadian Olympic Association. He also serves as a member of the International Sailing Federation Review Board.
