Overview
Devin Persaud is an associate in the Competition and Foreign Investment Group at Goodmans.
Devin advises clients on all areas of Canadian competition, antitrust, foreign investment, marketing, and corporate compliance law.
Prior to joining Goodmans, Devin was an associate in the Toronto office at a major Canadian law firm, where he also provided advice to clients on all aspects of Canadian competition law.
Devin is passionate about promoting and encouraging diversity within the legal industry. He is the current President of the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto, the largest equity-seeking bar organization in Canada.
In 2022, Devin was honoured by Precedent Magazine with its “Precedent
Setter” Award. He previously received the 2020 Young Lawyer of the Year
Award by the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers – Ontario, and was
named a 2019 Lexpert Zenith Award winner as a Change Agent in Law.
