Overview
Darren Gill is an associate in a business law group at Goodmans. He maintains a broad corporate practice acting for both public and private companies.
Darren’s practice is transaction-based, with a particular emphasis on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities law. He advises public and private companies and their investors on a variety of transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, going private transactions, equity and debt financings and corporate governance matters. Darren also assists clients with continuous disclosure obligations, corporate governance, reorganizations and other corporate and securities law requirements. Darren advises companies of all sizes with their reporting obligations under Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (commonly known as the Modern Slavery Act).
Prior to joining Goodmans, Darren summered, articled and was an associate at another Toronto law firm.
