Michael Hassar is an associate in the Tax Group at Goodmans.

Before joining Goodmans, Michael was an associate in the Tax Group at another Canadian firm. He is developing a practice in all areas of income and commodity taxation that arise in corporate and commercial transactions.

Mandalay Resources Corporation in connection with its agreement to combine in a merger of equals transaction with Alkane Resources Ltd., pursuant to which Alkane will acquire all the issued and outstanding common shares of Mandalay.
Converge Technology Solutions Corp. in connection with the successful acquisition of all of its issued and outstanding common shares by an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital.
Cargill, Incorporated and Cargill International Trading Pte Ltd. in connection with the restructuring proceedings of Tacora Resources Inc.
Bulloch Technologies, Inc. in connection with its C$150 million acquisition by Dover.
