Shawn Therien is the Manager of Professional Development at Goodmans.
Shawn works on the design, delivery and oversight of high-quality education programs and learning initiatives that enhance legal expertise, professional skills, and client value.
With over a decade of experience in the legal industry, Shawn has spent seven years developing innovative and award-winning education programs to help lawyers achieve their full potential and best serve their clients. He is passionate about the law, learning, and legal technology. Before joining Goodmans, Shawn worked as a Professional Development Lawyer for one of Canada’s premier Continuing Professional Development providers for lawyers. He also practised litigation at international law firms.
Shawn received his BA from York University, his JD from Western University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015.
