Owen Gaffney

Owen Gaffney is an associate in a business law group at Goodmans. He is developing his practice in the areas of private equity, technology, and public M&A.

Owen obtained his law degree from the University of Western Ontario, where he completed the Intellectual Property, Information and Technology Area of Concentration, won several academic awards, and graduated with distinction.

Prior to joining Goodmans, Owen was an associate at a National law firm practicing corporate restructuring and insolvency law. Owen also gained practical and client-focussed experience working with in-house counsel at various companies within Canada’s financial services industry.
