Colbeck Capital Management LLC US$70 Million Term Loan

Goodmans LLP acted for Colbeck Capital Management LLC (“Colbeck”) in connection with a US$70 million term loan to finance the acquisition and combination of Berlitz Corporation, ELS and The ILSC Education Group under the ownership of Language Education Holdings.

The combined entity will be one of the largest and most comprehensive language learning and study abroad platforms in the world. In addition to providing the financing, Colbeck is an equity investor in the combined entity. Goodmans advised on the Canadian aspects of the financing.
