Organigram enters agreement to acquire Aurora Cannabis Inc.

Goodmans LLP is acting for Organigram Global Inc. in connection with an arrangement agreement pursuant to which Organigram agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Aurora Cannabis Inc. for $7.80 per share, valuing the total transaction at approximately C$561 million.

The combined company will own and operate five EU-GMP certified production and distribution facilities and bring world-class innovation to existing and new markets to meet international demand and support global market share expansion.

Organigram Global Inc. is a NASDAQ Global Select Market and TSX listed company whose wholly owned subsidiary, Organigram Inc., is a licensed cultivator of cannabis and manufacturer of cannabis-derived goods in Canada.
