HUB International Limited/Hub International Canada West ULC $5.06 Billion Refinancing from Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, Inc.
Hub International Limited and Hub International Canada West ULC successfully closed a US$5.06 billion refinancing of its existing debt. The refinancing materially increased the credit available to Hub and Hub Canada and is commensurate with Hub’s continued growth and acquisition strategy. This was a high yield/secured credit facilities combination deal; cross-border and a significant deal size.
Goodmans was lead Canadian counsel to Hub Canada and its 27 Canadian subsidiaries on the refinancing and worked with Simpson Thacher, Hub’s US counsel and the Hub legal department.
