Goodmans LLP acted for Motive Partners and its portfolio company, Tegra 118, in connection with their acquisition of a majority stake in InvestCloud, the global leader in cloud-based financial digital solutions.

InvestCloud is a global company specializing in digital platforms that enable the development of financial solutions, pre-integrated into the Cloud. It supports over $4 trillion of assets for more than 500 direct clients – including some of the world's largest banks. The company offers on-demand client experiences and intuitive operations solutions using an ever-expanding library of modular apps, to create powerful products.

Goodmans LLP also acted for Motive Partners and its portfolio company Investcloud in connection with their ascuisition of Advicent, the premier cash flow, trust and tax financial planning provider.

The acquisition aims to create the world's leading financial planning solution, and comes as market volatility has accelerated a focus on financial planning – a market worth $52.9 billion in the US alone, and predicted to grow 3.5 percent in 2021.
