Goodmans and Startup Grind Toronto will be hosting a “Venture Financing & Term Sheets Masterclass” at Toronto Tech Week 2026, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 8:30 – 10:30 AM EDT.

This session will include a focused discussion on the components of a venture financing term sheet, from a company, investor and legal perspective.

Kathleen Chan (Founder and CEO at Calico AI) and Jonah Midanik (Managing Partner at Forum Ventures) will join Goodmans Partner, Danielle Levesque, to discuss their own experiences of raising capital as a founder, investor, and lawyer to growing technology companies.
