Congratulations to Goodmans Partner Andrew Brodkin for winning Patent Litigator of the Year – Canada, his fourth “Lawyer of the Year” award in 2024.
Andrew Brodkin is a partner and a member of the Executive Committee at Goodmans. Andrew also heads the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, and focusses his practice on high stakes intellectual property litigation where he has been described as “ having had more successes than anyone in this practice area in history” (Who’s Who Legal) and as “the undisputed IP litigator in Canada” (Chambers Canada).
Goodmans Intellectual Property Litigation Team also won Impact Case of the Year for their representation of JAMP Pharma Corporation successfully avoiding a permanent injunction sought by AbbVie Corporation and Abbvie Biotechnology Ltd., and being permitted to continue to market Simlandi in Canada. This is the team's second impact case of the year award in 2024.
