Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. ("Bio-Rad") and 10x Genomics, Inc. ("10x Genomics") have reportedly settled more than 20 separate patent disputes across a multitude of venues and jurisdictions. Bio-Rad is based in Hercules, California and develops and manufactures products for the life sciences research and clinical diagnostic markets.
10x Genomics is based in Pleasanton, California and designs and manufactures gene sequencing technology used in scientific research. At least some of the founders of 10x Genomics were former employees of Bio-Rad.
