It's World Intellectual Property Day!

The entire Goodmans IP Team wishes you a happy World Intellectual Property Day!

To celebrate, the World Intellectual Property Organization has collected a number of online resources to help you consider how intellectual property rights can be used to help your business thrive.

The Canadian Intellectual Property Office has also collected online resources emphasizing this year's theme: helping small and medium-sized enterprises bring their ideas to market.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office will be providing a 90-minute presentation at 3 pm eastern time regarding the role that intellectual property rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity.

The White House has also issued a special proclamation to celebrate the "critical role...small businesses play in our society and the ways intellectual property can help support their continued growth and resilience".
