Overview
David Coll-Black is a partner in the business law group at Goodmans. His practice focuses on corporate and securities law. He advises public, private and multinational companies and their investors on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, going private transactions, as well as public and private debt and equity financings, and shareholder activism and corporate governance matters.

- Organigram Global Inc. in connection with numerous equity public offerings, including the C$124.6 million strategic investment by a subsidiary of British American Tabacco.
- The underwriters in connection with Loop Energy Inc.’s initial public offering and listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

- Newmont Corporation in connection with its US$10 billion acquisition of Goldcorp Inc., US$17.8 billion acquisition of Newcrest Mining Limited and various divestitures including its Porcupine, Musselwhite, Éléonore, and Coffee operations.
- Organigram Global Inc. in connection with its acquisition of Sanity Group GmbH for €107.3 million and the related C$65.2 million follow-on strategic equity investment by a subsidiary of British American Tobacco.
- The Special Committee of independent directors of the board of directors of WonderFi Technologies Inc. in connection with WonderFi's acquisition by a wholly owned subsidiary of Robinhood Markets, Inc.
