• The underwriters, led by RBC Capital Markets, Canaccord Genuity Corp. and National Bank Financial Inc., in connection with the C$144 million initial public offering of VerticalScope Holdings Inc.
• Onex Corporation in connection with a substantial issuer bid for C$400 million of its subordinate voting shares.

• Hudbay Minerals Inc. in connection with its acquisition of Arizona Sonoran Copper Company Inc. (“ASCU”) in an all-share transaction valued at US$1.48 billion at announcement.
• Tricon Residential Inc. in connection with its privatization by Blackstone Real Estate for US$3.5 billion.
• Primo Water Corporation in its merger with an affiliate of BlueTriton Brands, Inc. to create Primo Brands. Corporation, a leading North American pure-play healthy hydration company. 
• Newmont Corporation as Canadian counsel in connection with its US$17.8 billion acquisition of Newcrest Mining Ltd.
• Coinsquare Ltd. in connection with its three-way merger of equals with WonderFi Technologies Inc. and CoinSmart Financial Ltd.

Private Mergers & Acquisitions

• Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. in connection with its C$320 million structured equity investment in Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. (post-privatization).
• Clairvest Group Inc. in connection with the sale of Also Energy Holdings, Inc. to Stem Inc. for US$750 million.
• Torcan Lift Equipment Ltd. in connection with its sale to Lou-Tec Group Inc. 
• Blink49 Studios Inc. on its acquisition of a majority stake in Vancouver-based production company Front Street Pictures, and its subsequent acquisitions of Pier 21 Films and Lighthearted Entertainment.
