Max Borins is an associate in a business law group at Goodmans.
He is developing his practice in corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and shareholder activism, corporate finance, and securities law.
Max first joined Goodmans as a summer student in 2021.

- GTCR LLC in connection with its proposed acquisition of dentalcorp Holdings Ltd. by way of a plan of arrangement in a transaction that values Dentalcorp at approximately C$2.2 billion on an equity value basis.
- Mandalay Resources Corporation in connection with its merger of equals transaction with Alkane Resources Ltd., pursuant to which Alkane acquired all the issued and outstanding common shares of Mandalay.
- BSR REIT on its US$1 billion asset sale and recapitalization transaction with Avalon Bay Communities, Inc.
- Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT in connection with a private placement offering of C$500 million aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured debentures of the REIT in two series.
- Doman Building Materials Ltd. in connection with a C$265 million offering of high yield notes and a C$100 million follow-on offering of notes.
- The special committee of the board of directors of Aimia Inc, in connection with Aimia’s successful defense of an unsolicited take-over bid by Mithaq Capital.
