Kilmer Sports Ventures acquires Toronto Tempo expansion franchise of the WNBA
Goodmans LLP advised Kilmer Sports Ventures, owned by Larry Tanenbaum, in connection with its acquisition of the “Toronto Tempo” expansion franchise, the first Women's National Basketball Association (the “WNBA”) franchise awarded in Canada, as well as the concurrent third-party investor financing.
The Toronto Tempo will begin competing in the WNBA’s 2026 season.
