Anita Susac-Bilyk at CALL 2026 Annual Conference

Details

Join Goodmans Library Services Senior Manager, Anita Susac-Bilyk, for two Canadian Association of Law Libraries (CALL) sessions in Moncton, New Brunswick.

  • “Navigating LRW Instruction in GenAI Infested Waters” on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 11:30 - 12:15 PM ADT. Hear from law librarians from both within and outside of academia on how they are navigating the integration of generative AI in Legal Research and Writing (LRW), including adjustments to teaching strategies, updating instructional goals, and rethinking what constitutes essential LRW skills. In addition to a better understanding of the current landscape in the academic, private, and government sectors, audience members will come away with ideas for teaching and training that they can implement themselves.
  • “Law Librarians: Leading Change in the Age of AI” on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 9:00 - 10:15 AM ADT. This session will explore how AI is becoming embedded in legal work - organizations must balance innovation with information integrity, ethical decision-making, risk management, and trust. At the same time, technological change reshapes workplace culture and professional roles.
