Julia Martschenko is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Goodmans.
Julia’s practice focuses on assisting clients with a wide variety of litigation and arbitration proceedings involving complex commercial transactions and securities matters. She has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Federal Court of Appeal, and has acted on leave applications to the Supreme Court of Canada.
After summering and articling at a major Bay street firm, Julia served as a clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario to The Honourable David Watt, The Honourable Benjamin Zarnett and The Honourable Eileen Gillese. She also spent a year working in commercial barristers’ chambers (Essex Court Chambers, 5 Essex Chambers, 4 Pump Court, and Littleton Chambers) as a Harold G. Fox Scholar in London, England.
Julia graduated from law school with a medal in law for receiving a top three standing in her graduating year.
