Development of the Hangar District

Goodmans LLP is assisting PSP Investments and its development company, Northcrest, in connection with land use approvals for its 370 acres of land within the Downsview area, one of the single largest City-building opportunities in North America. 

The Hangar District, the first district within Downsview, is a 100+ acre mixed-use district that includes the adaptive re-use of existing hangar buildings. Goodmans assisted with obtaining zoning by-law amendments and approval of an associated draft plan of subdivision to permit nearly 3,000 new dwelling units and a total gross floor area of 489,009 square metres across approximately 30 new buildings, including mid-rise and tall buildings.
