RioCan REIT’s Redevelopment of Several Retail Centres

Goodmans LLP assisted RioCan REIT in obtaining the development approvals for the redevelopment of several existing retail centres, including the Yonge Eglinton Centre, Yonge Sheppard, Leaside Centre, Sunnybrook Plaza, Dufferin Plaza and 740 Dupont Street, to achieve significant residential intensification and retail revitalization at key intersections and along key corridors in the City of Toronto.

Goodmans LLP also succeeded in obtaining zoning approvals for a significant mixed-use tower at Grand Park Plaza in Mississauga through a contested hearing at the Ontario Land Tribunal.
